Cat Tree City
Cat Tree City is the capital of the Kingdom of Cats: Walter's gigantic vertical fortress, where the floor a family lives on shows its social rank. The richest and most powerful noble families compete to settle ever higher in the Grand Tower.
The poor and the commoners are not allowed into the tower and live in the suburbs at its feet. The royal guard watches over the city walls.
The tower's floors are luxuriously fitted out, each according to its own idea of grandeur, in a contest of ingenuity and eccentricity. Mechanical lifts connect these closed worlds, each with a very different atmosphere.
