Roundpaw, Incorporated

Roundpaw, Incorporated is one of the Kingdom's most renowned canneries. Its output is modest but carefully crafted: poultry paté, chilli termite paté, frog liver paté, crayfish kibble. Four generations of Roundpaws bustle between stoves, offices and delivery rounds, under the lead of the matriarch Regina Roundpaw. Part of the production is regularly given to the city's old penniless Cats.

Behind the scenes, Regina and her granddaughter Sadie have set up, with the help of Grandma Scramble, a postal network letting exiled Kittens correspond with their families. Messages are slipped into hollow fake wooden eggs, hidden in the egg baskets that Grandma Scramble brings to the Cat Tree City Bridge every week.
