The Suburbs

The Suburbs are all the districts that sprawl at the foot of the tower. The poor and the commoners, not allowed into the fortress, live here under a distinct organisation: the Marketplace for trade, Chopton for food production, the Soot District for craftsfolk, and the Wastelands on the edge.

This is daily life for most of Cat Tree City's residents, far from the luxury of the upper floors but sheltered, more or less, from the bad weather and the dangers of the Kingdom's roads.
