The Marketplace

The Marketplace is a bright, open suburb with gables covered in Virginia creeper. On the ground floor, the arcades house shops and stores devoted to all sorts of useful or precious items: fabrics and veils, pottery, jewelry, toiletries. Everything that can be made in the Kingdom and beyond is found here. Even Walter sometimes comes down to do a little shopping.

At its center lies the Showground, dominated by the statue of Walter, regularly defaced. Once a month, for three days, merchants flock from all over the Kingdom and the square is packed, crowded with carts and peddlers. It is the perfect time to get your paws on some rather exceptional objects, or even to enter the city incognito, hidden in the trunks of obliging merchants.
