The Showground

The vast Showground occupies the center of the Marketplace, in the suburbs of Cat Tree City. The statue of Walter stands there, regularly defaced, without Vizir Chilli, the royal officer in charge of the fair, ever managing to prevent it.

The fair welcomes the wandering merchants of the Kingdom and beyond, those without a shop in the district. There are usually only two or three passing peddlers, but once a month, for three days, the square overflows with people, carts and hawkers.

Some merchants help Kittens in exile enter the city incognito, hidden in their trunks.
