The Showground

At the center of the Marketplace lies the vast Showground, where the statue of Walter stands, regularly defaced, much to the dismay of Vizir Chilli, who is officially responsible for it.

Once a month, for three days, wandering merchants from all over the Kingdom and beyond set up their stalls there. The square is then packed, crowded with carts and peddlers offering goods found nowhere else. It is also a chance for Kittens in exile to enter the city incognito, hidden in the trunks of obliging merchants.
