The Sewers

Beneath Cat Tree City and its suburbs, a maze of galleries, tunnels, pipes, reservoirs and walkways forms what the locals call "The Sewers". This is where all the city's wastewater pours before vanishing into unfathomable depths. In truth, the sewers are a fragment of the underground City that stretches unseen beneath the world, and there they connect to the Kingdom of Rats and its vast underground network.

It is in these galleries that Matey Mousetail set up the secret hideout of the Pillow Knights: a group of exiled Kittens who faked their departure and live there, warm, in comfortable rooms filled with toys, thick blankets and books borrowed from the library.

In the most remote depths, a large albino crocodile prowls in silence. Few animals have seen it, and those who have crossed its path did not try to learn more.
