The Sewers

Beneath Cat Tree City and its suburbs, a maze of galleries, tunnels, pipes, reservoirs and walkways forms what the locals call "the Sewers". All the city's wastewater ends up there, then vanishes into unfathomable depths. In truth, the sewers are only a small piece of Downtown, which stretches unseen beneath the world, and they connect to the Kingdom of Rats and its underground network, the GIN (Great Interraccoon Network).

It is in these galleries that Matey Mousetail set up the secret hideout of the Pillow Knights: a group of exiled Kittens who faked their departure and live there, warm, in comfortable rooms filled with toys, thick blankets and books borrowed from the library.

A large albino crocodile lives in the sewers. Little more is known about it.
