The baths, on the 40th floor of the Grand Tower, form a labyrinth of bathrooms, basins, piping and boilers. The tower's cats drop by at any hour, wrapped in bathrobes with towels tucked under their arms, to be groomed and have their claws done by masseurs and beauticians.
