Dreamsinger

Description

Dreamsinger is a set of magic bagpipes dating back to the first Animals gifted with speech. Two students of the very first archmeowge, jealous of each other, made two instruments at that time: Dreamsinger and the trumpet Nightscreamer. What became of those two meowges is not known.

Handed down through countless generations, the two instruments ended up with two rival troupes of acrobats. Dreamsinger went to the Rainbow Tumble Tribe, Nightscreamer to the Riders on the Storm.

Its power works on dreams: it gives the sweetest nights and heals ailments and anxieties. Ernest, the old bear who led the Tribe, gave it to Dualeaper along with the leadership of the troupe.

Dualeaper, who now runs Bigwheel park, has learned to master it and plays it for visitors who ask. Its music has also long lulled the sleep of Selene, the spirit of the Slumbering Forest.
