Nightscreamer

Description

Nightscreamer is a magic silver trumpet, the evil counterpart to Dreamsinger. Born of the same ancient rivalry between two students of the first archmeowge, it circulated for a long time before falling to the Riders on the Storm, a troupe of performers dressed all in black.

Its power is the opposite of its sister instrument: played against someone, it inflicts nights filled with nightmares and anxieties. Edmund, the short-tempered turtle who commands the Riders, is its current bearer. He rents it out to anyone wishing to inflict bad nights on their enemies.

The rivalry between Nightscreamer and Dreamsinger mirrors the deep antagonism between Edmund and Dualeaper.
