Nightscreamer

Description

Nightscreamer is a magic trumpet. Two apprentices of the very first archmeowge, who envied each other, made it at the same time as the bagpipes Dreamsinger. Handed down for generations, it reached the Riders on the Storm, a troupe of acrobats dressed in black and rivals of the Rainbow Tumble Tribe, who received Dreamsinger.

Edmund, the short-tempered turtle who commands the Riders, plays it with rare skill. He sells its use to anyone who wants to give their enemies anxious nights. The old quarrel between the two troupes goes on: Edmund holds on to it, while Dualeaper, the bearer of Dreamsinger, tries to avoid fights.
