Count Catula's Manorhouse

Set apart from the Kingdom, an old creaking house shelters a mysterious figure: Count Catula, an old tomcat with a trembling chin and clicking teeth whose exact age is unknown. Some believe him immortal.

The Count takes in the Kingdom's Hooting Kittens, those kittens struck by a strange ailment that keeps them from growing or ageing, and who have nowhere else to go. They look upon him as a father and gather here to sleep through the day, far from the burning sun, and party once night falls.

Walter is afraid of the Count and does not provoke him without reason. For some unknown reason, the Count submits to all common laws and never protests, which does not stop the royal guard from finding a Kitten within these walls if Walter gives the order.
