Summer Solstice

The Summer Solstice is the ship of Captain Buttercup, moored in the port of Huggle. She loves the sea, ships, sea shanties and fish, which is why she became a captain, after winning this one at dice. Loaded dice, some claim, but no one dares accuse her of it to her face.

It is a two-masted schooner about fifteen meters long, sleek, fast and easy to handle with a small crew. Its sails are the color of a blazing sun, and its flag shows a stylized sun on a blue field. A launch, L'Étincelante, hangs at its stern.

Buttercup hires out her services, and her ship, for a perilous mission, a lost cause or an unexplored region. The schooner is the setting of the adventure Oh My Boat!.

• Gédéon: an old tinkering beaver, the ship's craftsman, nicknamed "La Planche"

• Jack: a marmoset lookout, crude, hot-headed and fond of rum
• Matthias: a young pup cabin boy, shy and fearful, but serious about his work
• Plouf, Plaf and Plif: three catfish brothers, inseparable sailors fond of dice
