Description
Gédéon, nicknamed "La Planche", is an old tinkering beaver, ship's craftsman of the Summer Solstice and a member of its crew. Carpenter, sailmaker and ropemaker, he is the one who repairs everything aboard, and he looks after the schooner as if he were in love with it.
He also keeps the ship's accounts. He was already part of the crew when Captain Buttercup won the ship at dice.
