Description

Matthias is a shy young pup, the latest recruit of Captain Capucine, who took him in at Embrasse after a dishonest merchant had been exploiting him as a servant. He is afraid of everything, but he does his cabin boy work flawlessly and loves life at sea.

In the evenings, he plays the flute on deck. He is secretly a bit in love with his captain. He is the one who named L'Île Nuage, spotted from the deck through the haze.
