The Jammed Radio Tower

From up in the Heights of Cat Tree City, an old metal tower can be made out far away on a hill, giving off a flashing light and, sometimes, a strange melody. The capital's taverns buzz with rumours: at the top would sit a meowgic artifact, the Chatter Box.

The object is real. According to the Kittens who found it, it can amplify a voice, record sounds, emit a devastating wave, play bewitching music, pick up mysterious broadcasts, or unfold into a talking robot with a disconcerting personality. Walter himself has heard of this artifact, but does not dare send his guard to such a steep place.

Reaching it takes a long road and a perilous climb to the top.
