Description
Old Man Chompy is an old, silent and stubborn cat who lives in his workshop in the Soot District. A passionate craftsman, anarchist and libertarian, he despises every symbol of authority and refuses to yield to the pressure of Walter, who wants to raze the workshop to build a factory there. His stubbornness has cost him dearly: three grandsons and two granddaughters were exiled by the king to break his will.
It is very much against his will that he became a symbol of resistance in his district. He has no ambition to lead a revolution, but has developed a taste for political thought and uses old human books to teach young cats about ethics and morals.
