Description
Old Man Chompy is an old, silent and stubborn Cat, a craftsman in the Soot District. An anarchist and libertarian, he hates King Walter, the nobility, the royal guard and anything that stands for authority.
From the start, he has refused to close his workshop, which the king wants to raze to build a factory, and old property deeds back him up. His stubbornness has cost him dearly: five of his grandchildren have been exiled.
Without ever wanting it, he now stands as an emblem of resistance to Walter. He wants neither to lead a revolution nor to command anyone, but politics now interests him. He has found a few old human books on the subject, and trains young Cats so they will know how to organize things the day Walter is gone.
