Description
The Swamp Beast is a giant creature, ancient and intelligent, living at the heart of the swamp. Its body mixes scales, leaves and branches, and its fur is as long as tufts of grass. Very few cats know it exists, and even the most learned archmeowges have no idea what it is.
The few who have seen it, coiled near the old factory, dread its mood swings and its voice, heard directly inside one's head. To anyone who listens, its cries sound like calls for help. Its body keeps growing, and the swamp spreads with it.
The Beast sheds great skins in the swamp. The Cult of the Molt, which worships it, collects them and works them like leather. No one has ever explained why it looks so much like Selene, the spirit of the Slumbering Forest.
