Typical Yardog

Description

The Yardogs are canine brigands settled in The Junkyard, an open-air dump littered with human remains. Once man's best friends, they turned bitter and violent after the disappearance of the big-bare-butts, wandering in hope of a return that never comes.

Their daily routine: forging weapons and armor from rusted sheet metal in the morning, heading out to pillage the surrounding area in packs in the afternoon. They move on foot or in noisy, jury-rigged motor carts, and their arrival in the nearby countryside is always noticed and feared.

They rarely attack alone, favoring prepared group raids to capture animals they'll force to work in their place while awaiting ransom.
