La Dernière Parade is a community scenario by Onion Ring for Dungeons and Kittens. On the road to Bigwheel, the Kittens cross paths with the Barnum & Bailey circus caravan, whose star attraction is Fritz, a multicolored tightrope-walking elephant.
Overview
Three days from reaching town, the Kittens learn that Fritz only speaks to those whose heart is full of good intentions. They realize he is deeply unhappy and must decide whether to help him escape, and how: at night, during a rehearsal, or on the night of the big premiere.
The scenario pays tribute to Fritz the Elephant, a figure from the history of Tours with a tragic fate. Onion Ring offers a deliberately open framework: the Storyteller adapts the tone to the audience and improvises the scenes, so players can both have fun and reflect.
