The Meowgic Lantern

Description

The meowgic lantern lights the central square of Mousse-Roche from the gable of the Lantern Inn, which owes it its name. It is made of two ancient truck headlights set into a motley assembly of cables salvaged here and there, the whole thing enchanted and powered by old meowgic.

In a region this damp and misty, its light carries far, and it is what guides travelers to the village. It came from the Ombrumes, the noble family from Cat Tree City once charged with administering these lands from the manor overlooking the knoll, who gave it to the village's first inhabitants.
