The Red Tavern

The Red Tavern owes its name to the blood-red color of its facade, which makes it impossible to miss on the residential avenue where it nestles. The single-storey establishment is surrounded by affluent homes with often-shuttered windows, a stone's throw from the Baron's Palace.

The ground-floor common room is spacious. Below it, a vast vaulted cellar serves as a store for beer and fine wine, as damp as it is poorly maintained. Its manager is Vol-au-vent, a meticulous robin well known in the neighborhood.
