Valley of Statues

The Valley of Statues is a secluded vale along a turbulent river, reached from Greenshore. At the heart of the ruins of an old manor, surrounded by white marble statues, lives a lonely, shaggy human. He harms no one and almost never leaves his corner, but rumors swell in the nearby village.

The human now tends the manor garden with care. He feeds on clear water, roots, berries and the apples of a large neighboring orchard.

The statues fascinate him: he perhaps recognizes his own features in them, like an echo of his own kind. The village children, led by the young hedgehog Spikey, make ever bolder forays into the ruins.
