Description

Chaltimbanques are Kitten musicians who have traveled the world since the big-bare-butts disappeared. They hear music in trees, sand and waves.

Their art relies on Resonance. Through the voice, an instrument or any object that makes a sound, they can influence moods and sense emotions. A parent usually teaches this art, but some Kittens discover it on their own.

Chaltimbanques enjoy traveling, then returning to familiar places to share new stories and songs.

Cattribute: Hold the Audience

Through song, music or dance, a Chaltimbanque effortlessly draws a crowd's attention and shares a cheerful mood.

Purr-ecious items

The bag contains a Harmonichat, a seed-filled pouch used for percussion, a tuning fork and a music notebook.

Resonance Meowgic

Resonance meowgic includes six effects:

  • The Melodic Key (Strong 2) uses Resonance to unlock an object, door or padlock without damaging it.
  • The Whistling Friend (Strong 1) briefly brings an object to life, and it sings, whistles or dances.
  • The Song of Courage (Smart 2) restores a companion's courage, and the companion receives 1 Heart point.
  • The Source Frequency (Smart 3) lets the Chaltimbanque locate the source of a sound, even in loud noise. The effect ends if concentration breaks.
  • The Dream Chord (Cute 1) soothes a person, who falls asleep or wakes feeling fully rested.
  • The Note of Truth (Cute 2) lets the Chaltimbanque sense the Resonance of the person opposite and hear false notes in what they say. Lying becomes difficult.
