Kitten Childhoods

Childhood defines what a Kitten is, how they grew up, what they learned and what they can do. It determines their Cattributes, their starting skills and their five important items. The full rules are in Book 1, pages 25 to 37.

Choosing a childhood is the second step of character creation. The childhood cards let you make that choice at the table, deck in hand.

Official Childhoods

Kittens of the Kingdom

Children of craftsmen, farmers, guards and nobles, perfectly ordinary but exiled by the unjust laws of King Walter.

Odd Ones Out

Kittens with wholly unique origins and powers, living on the fringes of society. Very rare: there should be no more than one in a group.

Other Animals

To play something other than a Kitten. It is not unusual, of course not… but the game is called Dungeons and Kittens.

Odd Ones Out (Book 2)

Community Childhoods

Extra childhoods created by the community, notably by Monsieur Alceste, Mori Drak and Mierlin.
