Baldaquin

Description
Baldaquin is a musician tomcat among the Catnuts of Wormwood, whose tunic and hat of interlocking leaves he wears. He opens the fireside evenings: he lights the fire, whose smoke keeps insects and beasts away, then talks about the swamp to those who sit around it. The rest of the time he plays the banjo perched on whatever he finds, a ruined block of concrete for instance.
