Aux sources de la Miagie
An ermine with fur as white as snow. Two crows who seem as old as time itself. A guinea pig who once set off alone across the sea. Something connects them, something no one really wants to explain.
This campaign takes the Kittens from an isolated forest under snow to a volcanic island that no map shows. Along the way: a besieged village, a perilous sea crossing, and at journey's end, a truth some would have preferred to keep buried.
The campaign Aux sources de la Miagie is published in Book 2: Aux sources de la Miagie. It is designed for a litter that has already lived through a few adventures.
The four adventures
- It's Snowing on Bois-Câlin: a hedgehog village in an out-of-season polar cold, a laboratory buried in the forest, an ermine asleep for centuries.
- Battleship at Embrasse: the port blocked, the Council divided, two old crows who know things and will not tell them for free.
- Oh, My Boat!: the open sea, a colorful crew, storms and encounters at the mercy of the waves, and at the end an island no one has ever mapped.
- Le Château tombé du ciel: an immense metal ruin atop a volcano. What the Kittens find there changes how they see the world.
Format
Each adventure is designed for two sessions of about four hours. Side plots allow it to be extended freely. The full campaign represents about ten sessions.
