Company of All Forests (CTF)
Description
The Company of All Forests (CTF) is a guild of volunteer animals whose mission is to study wildlife and protect every forest massif. Its members have noticed that some of their kin repeat the mistakes of the ancient humans: pollution, excessive deforestation, hunting beyond real need. Motto: "To every tree, its protector!"
Funded by donations and dues, the Company is led by a bear named Baptiste, who holds the honorary title of Great Oak. Its emblem shows a golden oak topped with a rainbow. The CTF maintains small lodges at the edge and heart of forests to shelter travelers.
Its most active and courageous members are called forest rangers: itinerant agents who receive their assignments from the Great Oak by carrier pigeon, recognizable by their green uniform bearing the Company's crest. They can also act on their own initiative and often serve as guides for lost travelers. A Kitten can aspire to join their ranks.
