The Disappearance of Grandma Scramble

On the first night of their exile, the Kittens learn a secret passed down among the banished for generations: Grandma Scramble, an old cat who lives in the forest by the old road, takes in exiles for the night.

When they find her cabin, the door is wide open, the fire is out, everything is turned upside down and Grandma Scramble has vanished. Her hens are pacing in circles, frantic.
