Miatchoum
Miatchoum is a community homebrew rule, not published by Studio Deadcrows, that gives a Kitten a cold: each sneeze rolls a meowgical effect on a 2d6 table.
The cold is caught on a rainy night, and the Kitten starts sneezing regularly.
The cold is cured with the Care spell (Cute 3) or a suitable object (herbal tea, medicinal plant, grog), but recovery only comes after a good night's sleep.
The Storyteller triggers a sneeze whenever she likes, during a fight, a test or at any other moment. The player then rolls 2d6 on the table below, and the effect lasts until the end of the day. Effects stack if the Kitten sneezes several times in the same day.
| 2d6 | Sneeze |
|---|---|
| 2 | Nothing happens. |
| 3 | A small rain cloud settles above the Kitten and follows him around. |
| 4 | When the Kitten breathes in, he floats up, and when he breathes out, he comes back down. |
| 5 | The Kitten's voice rises to a very high volume. |
| 6 | Smoke comes out of the Kitten's ears. |
| 7 | The Kitten has lost his voice, he can no longer speak. |
| 8 | The Kitten has to speak in backslang. |
| 9 | The Kitten has a runny nose, taking -1 in Cute. |
| 10 | The Kitten turns into a ball and rolls. |
| 11 | The Kitten is unable to tell the truth. |
| 12 | The Kitten is contagious and infects his right-hand neighbor, who starts sneezing in turn. Reroll 2d6. |
